Manager/Supervisor
ABOUT THE ROLE
Power Probe is a growing company seeking an experienced IT Systems & Infrastructure Manager to own the full technology environment across the organization. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
End-User Support & Device Management- Provide day-to-day IT helpdesk support for all employees across hardware, software, connectivity, and access issues
- Administer email accounts, user access, and permissions across Microsoft 365 and business applications
- Support SaaS and BPM workflow platforms and other business tools
- Set up workstations and IT access for new employees, support printers, office equipment, and IT inventory
- Execute employee offboarding procedures — revoking system access, recovering devices, and deactivating accounts across all platforms
Network & Infrastructure
- Maintain wired and wireless networks; ensure strong Wi-Fi coverage throughout the facility
- Manage VPN access, endpoint security, and antivirus/EDR solutions
- Administer firewall configuration and enforce cybersecurity best practices (Fortinet)
- Manage server infrastructure including Synology NAS — configuration, monitoring, and access control
- Coordinate with ISP and network vendors on connectivity and service changes
- Manage and monitor company backup systems; ensure all critical data and systems are backed up on schedule
- Conduct regular recovery tests to validate backup integrity and document results
- Maintain a written disaster recovery plan; review and update it at least annually
- Coordinate with the SAP Business Systems team to ensure ERP data is fully included in backup and recovery scope
- Deploy and manage endpoint protection (EDR/antivirus) across all company devices
- Manage patch and vulnerability remediation across operating systems and applications
- Administer email security tools including spam filtering and phishing protection
- Serve as the internal point of contact for the MDR/SOC vendor — reviewing alerts, coordinating incident response, and ensuring service levels are met
- Manage all third-party cybersecurity vendor relationships; hold partners accountable to agreed SLAs
- Enforce access control policies including least-privilege principles and multi-factor authentication (MFA)
- Drive employee security awareness — communicate emerging threats, reinforce safe practices, and coordinate training
- Assist with customer security questionnaires and internal compliance documentation
Facilities Technology
- Manage building access control systems including key fob/card readers and door entry configuration
- Administer security camera and surveillance systems, coordinate with vendors on maintenance and upgrades
- Maintain and install conference room AV equipment: displays, video conferencing systems (Zoom Rooms, Teams), and peripherals
- Manage company TVs, digital signage, and other facility-facing technology
- Configure, maintain, and support the VoIP phone system and company mobile devices
- Coordinate with alarm system vendors on configuration, monitoring, and maintenance
Budget, Vendor & Documentation Management
- Own the IT budget — track spend, manage vendor contracts and renewals, and make purchasing recommendations
- Evaluate, select, and manage IT vendors and service providers; negotiate contracts and hold partners accountable
- Document all systems, procedures, and IT processes; maintain an accurate IT asset inventory
- Participate in leadership discussions on technology planning and support strategic decisions as the company grows
QUALIFICATIONS
Required- 5+ years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or a similar hands-on IT role
- Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Active Directory; macOS familiarity preferred
- Experience with Microsoft 365 administration across all platforms
- Working knowledge of server fundamentals; Synology NAS experience preferred
- Working knowledge of networking fundamentals: switches, firewalls (Fortinet preferred), Wi-Fi, and VPN
- Familiarity with cybersecurity fundamentals: patching, MFA, endpoint protection, and backup/recovery
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently, prioritize competing demands, and manage vendor relationships
- SAP S/4HANA (cloud version) familiarity
- Experience working with or managing an MDR, SOC, or managed security service provider
- CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, or Microsoft certifications
- Familiarity with BPM or workflow management software (Zoho or similar)
- Experience in a small or mid-sized manufacturing or distribution environment
- Exposure to building access control, surveillance, or AV systems

| Salary Range | $55,000 – $75,000 annually, depending on experience |
